Trading suspended for COPm

Hi Mento team,

We noticed that trading for the USDT → COPm pair appears to be temporarily suspended on the Mento interface.

When attempting to swap, the UI displays the following message:

“Trading temporarily paused for USDT → COPm. Unable to determine accurate exchange rate now. Please try again later.”

From the user side, the pair cannot currently be executed and no exchange rate is returned.

Could the team help clarify:

  1. What caused the trading suspension?
  2. Is this expected behavior or an issue affecting the pair?
  3. Is there an estimated timeline for reactivation?
  4. Are there any recommended alternatives for users needing to access COPm in the meantime?

This pair is relevant for users accessing Colombian stable assets, so understanding the current status would be very helpful.

Hey hey, it’s because USDT has been hovering around or below the peg of 0.9985

Whenever USDT is off peg by more, the breaker trips and protects the protocol and its LPs by halting trading until it’s back above peg
